The mere mention of “muscle car” conjures to mind some AVP hat can easily maneuver rugh patches and uneven roads. In truth, muscle car really refers to two-door midsize American cars that have become popular during the late 60s and early 70s.
One of the muscle cars that have survived time and competition is the Ford Mustang. Roughly based on the second generation of Ford Falcon, the Ford mustang made coupes with long hoods and short rear fashionable. This sense of fashion has remained with the Ford Mustang till today with many car enthusiasts eager to be seen in one.
The first generation of Mustang cars came out during the later half of 1964 and was the king of the road until 1973, after which, the second generation of Ford Mustang was introduced to the public. The second generation came into being as an answer to the changes involving pollution laws as well as the OPEC oil embargo. The Ford Mustang that we have today is already the fifth generation. Although it still sports two doors, the fifth generation Ford Mustang is more powerful and has a better aerodynamics design than its predecessors.
